Compass Pilot Aptitude Tests
​Pilot aptitude testing involves undertaking a series of tests that measure a person's knowledge, skills and attitudes in respect of their capacity to fly (or learn to fly) an aircraft. Aptitude tests are used across the airline industry and by military forces worldwide to measure an individual's potential. Tests look at:

General and specialist knowledge, as well as verbal and mathematical reasoning

Manipulative ability, measuring hand/eye coordination and reaction

Profiling of personality, attitudes and values
PilotPathways uses the Compass Aptitude Tests that are used by domestic and international airlines
The knowledge, skills and attitudes required to be a professional pilot are not confined to any particular demographic. Some of the skills and attitudes are innate but, like knowledge, they can be acquired.
The trick is to know which areas to work on!
